NKS Gives

NKS Financial proudly launched the NKS Gives strategic philanthropy program in August 2022. Through the program, NKS Financial donates to one of five selected nonprofits, after the completion of a mortgage. Our clients guide the direction of the donation by choosing which of the five nonprofits receive the donation, following their closed transaction.

NKS Gives reflects values that are central to NKS Financial:

1. Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance - Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance provides family-centered support services to address the emotional, financial, and educational impacts of a pediatric cancer diagnosis. This organization offers hope and strength through a child's treatment along with paths towards wellness and healing beyond cancer. www.childcancer.org

2. Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento - The Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento is committed to positively impacting the lives of children, youth, and families affected by abuse, neglect, behavioral health issues, and trauma in California. www.crhkids.org

3. Warfighter Overwatch – Warfighter Overwatch supports our veteran and first responder community and their families through a variety of programs built to encourage camaraderie, resilience, and connectedness by harnessing the power of the environment to remind them of their strength, foundation and their innate ability to adapt and overcome. www.warfighteroverwatch.org

4. Sacramento SPCA – The Sacramento Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals fosters a loving and compassionate community for companion animals and people by providing assistance, creating lifelong relationships, and saving lives. www.sspca.org

5. WEAVE – WEAVE’s mission is to promote safe and healthy relationships and support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking. This remarkable organization is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County. www.weaveinc.org

What is it?

In February 2024, NKS Financial and NKS Gives launched the first Cheers to Charity Wine Dinner. It’s a different kind of event. It’s a non-profit fundraiser. It’s outstanding food. It’s incredible wine, paired perfectly with exceptional food courses. It’s an opportunity to purchase wine at insider pricing. It’s an evening with friends, new and old.

How does it work?

We pick a date. We secure an exceptional winery that works with renowned chef Aimal Formoli, to develop a multi-course meal, perfectly paired with the wine offerings. We partner with a non-profit to be the beneficiary of the event. You purchase a ticket and attend the event at the beautiful Sequoia at The Cannery event space. You decide to order wines at amazing prices and plan to pick it up at Brasserie du Monde post event. You walk away feeling deliciously happy and good about yourself, the food, the wine, the non-profit, and the evening. You look forward to the next Cheers to Charity dinner.
